MIAMI DOLPHINS RE-SIGN MOORE

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have re-signed quarterback Matt Moore.

Moore is entering his sixth season for the Dolphins and ninth in the NFL. He has played in 19 games for Miami, including one in 2015. Moore started 12 games for the Dolphins in 2011 and completed 210 of 347 passes (60.5 pct.) for 2,497 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was originally signed by the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent on July 29, 2011.

An Oregon State product, Moore entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Dallas Cowboys on May 14, 2007. He was signed off waivers prior to the 2007 season by the Carolina Panthers and started 13 games there over the course of four seasons (2007-10). For his career, Moore has played in 41 contests and started 25 of them. He has totaled 5,356 passing yards and 33 touchdown passes.
