Miami Dolphins Waive Douglas
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have waived guard Jamil Douglas.
Douglas was promoted from the practice squad on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 and played in the Week 4 contest at Cincinnati. He played in all 16 games with six starts – four at right guard and two at center – for the Dolphins in 2015. Douglas spent the 2016 training camp with the Dolphins before being waived on Sept. 3, 2016. Two days later, Douglas was signed to the team’s practice squad. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (114th overall) in the 2015 NFL draft by the Dolphins after playing collegiately at Arizona State.
