LANDRY BECOMES NFL’S ALL-TIME LEADER IN RECEPTIONS IN FIRST 4 YEARS

  • WR Jarvis Landry caught six passes for 32 yards (5.3 avg.) tonight and became the NFL’s all-time leader in most receptions during the first four years of a career, despite having eight more games left of the season:

LANDRY SCORES FOURTH TD IN FIVE GAMES

  • WR Jarvis Landry reeled in a 6-yard touchdown pass from QB Jay Cutler with 6:34 in the third quarter to make it a one possession game. It was Landry’s fourth touchdown in his past five contests.
  • Landry now has four touchdowns this season. He had four touchdown receptions in each of the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

CUTLER HAS IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS IN HIS RETURN

  • QB Jay Cutler returned to the field after missing one game with a ribs injury and had one of the finest performances of his career.
  • Cutler posted a career-best 81.0 completion percentage hitting on 34-of-42 attempts, surpassing his previous best (min. 10 att.) of 80.8 percent (21-of-26) on Dec. 5, 2010 at the Detroit Lions as a member of the Chicago Bears. Tonight was his 146th NFL game.
  • By completing 34-of-42 passes (81.0 pct.) for 311 yards and three touchdowns, Cutler posted a 121.3 quarterback rating. It is the 12th-highest quarterback rating in a single game in his career and his highest since Nov. 15, 2015 when he had a 151.0 rating at St. Louis.

SUH TOPS 50 CAREER SACKS

  • DT Ndamukong Suh had a strip-sack of Raiders QB Derek Carr in the fourth quarter, creating Miami’s first turnover of the game. The sack pushed Suh over the 50-sack plateau for his career.
  • Suh has 50.5 sacks in his career, second-most by a defensive tackle in the NFL since 2010, the year he entered the league:

DENNEY PLAYS IN HIS 200TH NFL GAME

  • LS John Denney played in his 200th NFL game tonight. He has played in every game since making his NFL debut on Sept. 11, 2005.
  • Denney became the 20th active NFL player and the 313th player in NFL history to play in 200 career games.

  • RB Damien Williams caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from QB Jay Cutler with 10:37 remaining in the second quarter to give Miami a 6-3 lead. It was Williams’ first touchdown of the season after he set a career high with six total touchdowns (three rushing, three receiving) in 2016.
  • Williams tied his career high with six receptions. He also had six catches against Minnesota on Dec. 21, 2014.

  • Miami successfully recovered an onside kick in the second quarter, with K Cody Parkey recovering his own kick. It was the team’s first successful onside kick since Oct. 28, 2012 when Jason Trusnik recovered an onside kick from Dan Carpenter at the N.Y. Jets.
  • DT Ndamukong Suh started his 91st consecutive game. It’s the second-longest games started streak among active NFL defensive linemen behind Domata Peko’s 120 straight starts.
  • TE Julius Thomas caught a 15-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, the first touchdown reception of his Dolphins career. Thomas has 34 touchdown receptions since 2013, third-most in the NFL among tight ends.
