Postgame – at Los Angeles

Miami Dolphins Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh (transcribed by the Los Angeles Rams)

(On if he was pleasantly shocked by the late rally)
“I wouldn’t say shocked by any means. The team has been fighting all year, so at the end of the day, we’ve just got to understand the situation we put ourselves in and go out there and make plays on both sides of the ball, and special teams. That’s what we did and we came out victorious.”

(On the significance of the two wins on the West coast)
“I think it’s huge. I think at the end of the day, it’s tough to win anywhere, especially when you’re not at home – especially when you’re on the West coast. The thing I’m proud about this team is we didn’t make any excuses. We were in San Diego or Carlsbad for a long period of time. We took care of business against San Diego in our stay and then went up to LA, and took care of business. I’m very proud of this team and we’ve got to continue to fight.”

(On if there was any difference in preparation given they were playing a rookie quarterback)
“No. In my opinion, I think we stayed in exactly what we wanted to do. We understood the type of offense they wanted to run. We understood they were probably going to rush the ball as much as they can to get their running back going. But our goal was to stop the run, as it is every single game, and make them win the rest of the game and make the quarterback try and prove he can beat us.”
