Postgame – Los Angeles Chargers

Dolphins K Cody Parkey (transcribed by the Los Angeles Chargers)

On kick difficulty with wind:
“The wind wasn’t too bad. It’s a smaller stadium and I think in the bigger stadiums it can sometimes swirl, so it wasn’t too bad. There was a little wind, but it wasn’t an issue. The weather in L.A. is pretty good, so I wasn’t complaining at all.”

On making game winning kicks:
“I’ve hit game winners, I’ve missed game winners, but I want to go ahead and say that [Chargers K Younghoe] Koo is a phenomenal kicker. He should just keep swinging. That’s all he has to do is keep swinging, keep trotting along and his time will come, but it is definitely good to be on this side.”

On what this win means for the team:
“It’s huge. We’re 1-0. That’s what we talked about doing. We have 16 straight [games]. Hopefully we just keep it going. There’s going to be some ups and downs, but we have to just keep riding the train and just keep going.”
