LB Duke Riley (transcribed by the Baltimore Ravens)

(on the defense at the end of the game and how they stepped up) “There were some plays that we could have made, things that we could have done better. We came out and made plays when we needed to. Got the ball back to our offense. We had two fourth-down stops, which were big. I know we didn’t have any turnovers, but to us, the fourth-down stops are like turnovers. Getting the ball back to our offense and our offense had our back. They had a couple plays, and we do need to make a couple of adjustments, but I give all credit to the offense. They did their thing. They made some great plays. They were resilient. We were resilient. We fought all day. We never thought that we were going to lose. That was one of my favorite wins.”

(on the locker room energy after the win) “This is one of my favorite wins of my entire career. You were in someone else’s home. You are down by that much in someone else’s place, things usually don’t come back and play like that.”

(on WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle performances) “Them having our back like that, it’s everything. It’s our offensive line protecting Tua [Tagovailoa]. Tua [Tagovailoa] putting the ball where it needs to be and those guys making the plays and holding on to the ball. We already knew they were going to try to stop those guys, but we got them the ball, made plays and we got the win. That’s the main thing at the end of the day. It doesn’t matter what the score was. We came out with a ‘W.’ We can go back home, correct our mistakes and be proud of ourselves for not giving up. It’s the 24-hour rule. We need to move on to next week. We will have another quick turnaround. We’ll have another great opponent. We’ll need to keep doing what we are doing. Growing as a team and keep improving as a team.”
