(What’s your excitement level just to be back out on the football field, doing what you guys want to do?) – “I’m glad to be back out here. I feel like we just left off the field in January but that’s the beauty of NFL football. We’re right back to it and right back working with a new coach, a new staff and a whole new thing going on out here. We’re just glad to be out here.”

(How much time have you gotten to spend with Head Coach Brian Flores and what are your initial impressions?) – “We spent a lot of time with him over the last two weeks but I met with him a couple of times before that. He’s a straightforward guy. He’s all about business and trying to bring a winning tradition here to the Dolphins and trying to get this thing rolling.”

(What was it like watching the Super Bowl knowing that Head Coach Brian Flores was going to be your coach next year?) – “We didn’t know at the time that he was going to be our coach. Did we already?”

(Yeah, we did. It wasn’t announced but we all knew.) – “You just knew that he was going to bring that Super Bowl winning mentality here. They had a tenacious defense. They were out there making plays and hopefully we can do the same thing here.”
