DOLPHINS PICK HIGGINS IN SIXTH ROUND
  • The Dolphins selected Stanford TE Elijah Higgins with their sixth-round pick at No. 197 overall.
  • Higgins becomes the 44th tight end drafted in Dolphins history and first since TE Hunter Long in 2021.
  • Higgins becomes the fifth tight end drafted from Stanford since 2016:

DOLPHINS CLOSE DRAFT WITH HAYES IN SEVENTH ROUND

  • The Dolphins selected Michigan T Ryan Hayes in the seventh round with the 238th overall pick.
  • Hayes is Miami’s first draft pick from the University of Michigan since they selected both T Jake Long (1st round, No. 1 overall) and QB Chad Henne (2nd round, No. 57 overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft.
  • Other Michigan offensive linemen drafted by Miami include G Tony Pape (7th round of 2004 NFL Draft) and T Jon Giesler (1st round of 1979 NFL Draft).
