Miami Dolphins Promote Douglas From Practice Squad
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed guard Jamil Douglas from their practice squad to the active roster.
Douglas played in all 16 games with six starts – four at right guard and two at center – for the Dolphins in 2015. He spent the 2016 training camp with the Dolphins before being waived on Sept. 3, 2016. Two days later, Douglas was signed to the team’s practice squad. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (114th overall) in the 2015 NFL draft by the Dolphins after playing collegiately at Arizona State.
