Miami Dolphins Sign Chapman
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed long snapper Winston Chapman to a free agent contract.
Chapman was a four-year letterman (2012-15) for Mississippi State and never failed on a snap during his collegiate career. He played in 40 career games before suffering a torn ACL two games into his senior season that caused him to miss the remainder of 2015. Chapman was named to the 2015 Southeastern Conference Honor Roll. A native of Fairhope, Alabama, he was a defensive lineman in high school. This is Chapman’s first NFL contract.
