Miami Dolphins Celebrate Youth Football in South Florida with Announcement of Day 3 Draft Picks by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Football Team and Family of Aaron Feis

Davie, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced their Day 3 picks during Rounds 4 and 6 of the NFL Draft from the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University. The team’s Day 3 selections celebrated youth football in South Florida with graduating seniors from the Stoneman Douglas football team and the family of assistant coach Aaron Feis, who tragically lost his life protecting students during a mass shooting on February 14th.

Johanna Feis, Aaron’s sister, announced the selection of fourth-round pick (123rd overall) tight end Durham Smythe from Notre Dame. Quarterback Tyler Goodman announced the selection of fourth-round pick (131st overall) running back Kalen Ballage from Arizona State. Offensive/defensive Lineman William Pringle announced the selection of sixth-round pick (209th overall) cornerback Cornell Armstrong from Southern Mississippi.

”There’s not enough thanks you can give to the Dolphins for what they’ve done after our tragedy,” said Goodman. “Them still caring about us even two months after it happened … I’m glad to see that people still care and are still wanting to help us out.”

The group toured the practice facility and met with Stephen Ross, coaches, team executives, player personnel and football support staff.
