Miami Dolphins Sign Louis-Jean

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed cornerback Al Louis-Jean and waived/injured cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu.

Louis-Jean played nine games for the Chicago Bears in 2014 and totaled eight tackles (five solo). He spent a week on the Washington Redskins’ practice squad during the 2015 postseason and then was signed to the Redskins’ roster following the season before being waived on May 2, 2016. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Bears on June 2, 2014. Louis-Jean played collegiately at Boston College.

Ekpre-Olomu originally joined the Dolphins off waivers from the Cleveland Browns on April 5, 2016. He has yet to appear in an NFL game after he was placed on injured reserve by the Browns prior to the 2015 season. Ekpre-Olomu originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (241st overall) by the Browns in the 2015 NFL draft after playing collegiately at Oregon.
