Miami Dolphins sign Skura

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed center Matt Skura as an unrestricted free agent from Baltimore.

Skura played in 54 games with 51 starts over the past four seasons (2017-20) with Baltimore. He’s also played in three playoff games with one start. Skura originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Baltimore on May 6, 2016 and spent most of the 2016 season on the Ravens’ practice squad. He earned first-team All-ACC honors as a senior at Duke in 2015.

Miami Dolphins sign Carter

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed tight end Cethan Carter as an unrestricted free agent from Cincinnati.

Carter (first name pronounced SEE-thin) played in 46 games with five starts over three seasons (2017, 2019-20) with Cincinnati. He missed the entire 2018 season after being placed on injured reserve. Carter has seven career receptions for 66 yards (9.4 avg.) and one touchdown. He also recorded 24 special teams tackles (15 solo). Carter originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Cincinnati on May 5, 2017.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed defensive lineman Adam Butler as an unrestricted free agent from New England.

Butler has played in 63 games with 12 starts over the past four seasons (2017-20) with New England. He’s totaled 96 career tackles (54 solo), 15 sacks, nine passes defensed and one forced fumble. Butler was part of New England’s championship team that won Super Bowl LIII and played in all three postseason games that season. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with New England on May 5, 2017.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed running back Malcolm Brown as an unrestricted free agent from the L.A. Rams.

Brown has spent the past six seasons (2015-20) with the Rams, playing in 70 games with two starts. He has totaled 298 career carries for 1,188 yards (4.0 avg.) and 11 touchdowns, while adding 11 receptions for 43 yards (7.6 avg.) and one touchdown in the passing game. Brown originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with St. Louis on May 8, 2015.

Miami Dolphins sign Brissett

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed quarterback Jacoby Brissett as an unrestricted free agent from Indianapolis.

Brissett has played in 49 NFL games with 32 starts over five seasons with New England (2016) and Indianapolis (2017-20). He’s completed 586-of-983 career passes (59.6 pct.) for 6,459 yards, 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Brissett was part of New England’s championship team that won Super Bowl LI and was Indianapolis’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee in 2020. He originally entered the league as a third-round pick (91st overall) by New England in the 2016 NFL Draft. Brissett is a West Palm Beach, Florida native, playing at Dwyer High School prior to attending the University of Florida and North Carolina State.

Foster has played 30 NFL games with seven starts, totaling 32 career receptions for 642 yards (20.1 avg.) and three touchdowns. He spent his first two NFL seasons (2018-19) with Buffalo before joining Green Bay’s practice squad in 2020 and playing four games with Washington later that season. Foster originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Buffalo on May 11, 2018.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have signed cornerback Justin Coleman.

Coleman has played in at least 10 games over each of the past six NFL seasons with New England (2015-16), Seattle (2017-18) and Detroit (2019-20). In his career, Coleman has appeared in 79 contests with 29 starts, totaling 189 tackles (151 solo), two sacks, four interceptions, 41 passes defensed, four forced fumble and four fumble recoveries. He’s also totaled 21 special teams stops (15 solo). Coleman originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Minnesota on May 8, 2015.

Miami Dolphins re-sign Pankey

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced that they have re-signed tackle Adam Pankey.

Pankey was awarded to the Dolphins off waivers from Green Bay on Dec. 10, 2019. He’s played in six games with one start for the Dolphins since joining the team in 2019. He also played two games for Green Bay from 2017-18. Pankey originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Packers on May 5, 2017.
