Miami Dolphins Make Roster Moves

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced they have placed wide receiver Grant DuBose on the reserve/injured list and signed quarterback Tim Boyle off their practice squad.

Additionally, the team elevated wide receivers Dee Eskridge and Erik Ezukanma to the active roster for Sunday’s game.

Boyle, who was signed to Miami’s practice squad on Aug. 29, 2024, has appeared in 20 career games with 5 starts with Green Bay (2019-20), Detroit (2021), Chicago (2022), and the N.Y. Jets (2023). He’s completed 114-of-183 passes (62.3 pct.) for 934 yards with four touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He originally entered the league as an undrafted college free agent with Green Bay in 2018. He finished his collegiate career at Eastern Kentucky, where he started all 11 games in 2017 and completed 201-of-327 passes for 2,134 yards with 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He transferred to EKU in 2016 from the University of Connecticut, where he played three seasons (2013-15).

DuBose appeared in Miami’s first two games of the 2024 season, recording one reception for 13 yards. He spent the 2024 offseason program and training camp with Green Bay after spending the 2023 season on their practice squad. He entered the league as a seventh-round selection (256th overall) by Green Bay in the 2023 NFL Draft. He finished his collegiate career at Charlotte, where he appeared in 24 games with 20 starts in two seasons (2021-22) after transferring from Miles College. He recorded 126 receptions for 1,684 yards (13.3 avg.) and 15 touchdowns at Charlotte. He ranked second in school history in career receiving yards per game (70.2) and fourth in career receiving yards (1,684).

Eskridge, who joined Miami’s practice squad on Aug. 29, 2024, has appeared in 24 career games in three seasons with Seattle (2021-23). He has recorded 17 receptions for 122 yards (7.2 avg.) and one touchdown, while contributing 428 yards on 17 kickoff returns (25.2 avg.). He entered the NFL as a second-round selection (56th overall) by Seattle in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan (2016-20), where appeared in 45 games and recorded 122 receptions for 2,260 yards (18.5 avg.) and 15 touchdowns.

Ezukanma has played in three career games, totaling one reception for three yards and five carries for 22 yards (4.4 avg.) in two seasons with Miami (2022-23). He was a fourth-round pick (125th overall) by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft and played collegiately at Texas Tech, where he earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020.
