Miami Dolphins Make Practice Squad Roster Moves

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced they have signed long snapper Jake McQuaide to the practice squad and released long snapper Zach Triner from the practice squad.

McQuaide is a 14-year veteran who has appeared in 194 career games with St. Louis/L.A. Rams (2011-2020), Dallas (2021-22), Detroit (2023) and Minnesota (2024). He also spent time on the practice squad with Chicago in 2024. McQuaide was named to consecutive Pro Bowls in 2016 and 2017. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Rams in 2011 and played collegiately at Ohio State (2006-10).

Triner has played in 84 career games in six seasons with Tampa Bay (2019-24) and Miami (2024). He also spent time on the practice squad with Green Bay at the end of the 2017 season. Triner appeared in three games with Miami this season. He entered the NFL in 2017 as a free agent with the N.Y. Jets and played collegiately at Assumption College (2012-14) in Worcester, Mass.
