MIAMI DOLPHINS SIGN BUSHROD
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed tackle Jermon Bushrod to a free agent contract.
An eight-year NFL veteran, Bushrod has played in 108 career games and made 96 starts. Bushrod spent the past three seasons with the Chicago Bears (2013-15) and played six years with the New Orleans Saints (2007-12). He played in 12 games with four starts for the Bears in 2015 and was released on Feb. 16, 2016.
Bushrod has been named to the Pro Bowl following the 2011 and 2012 seasons and won Super Bowl XLIV as a member of the Saints. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (125th overall) by the Saints in the 2007 NFL draft.
