Miami Dolphins sign Faciane
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed guard Isame Faciane.
Faciane spent the 2016 season on the Buffalo and Minnesota practice squads. He also had several stints on the Vikings practice squad in 2014 and 2015 after originally entering the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Minnesota on May 10, 2014. Faciane was an honorable mention All-Conference USA selection at defensive tackle as a senior at FIU in 2013.

Miami Dolphins waive Poole
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have waived tackle Terry Poole.
Poole signed with the Dolphins on Jan. 10, 2017 after spending 11 weeks on Miami’s practice squad in 2016. He spent the 2016 offseason and training camp with Seattle and was a member of the Seahawks practice squad during the 2015 season. He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (130th overall) by Seattle in the 2015 NFL draft.

Miami Dolphins make roster moves
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed tackle Kwayde Miller and activated tackle Avery Young off the non-football injury list.
Miller originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Los Angeles Rams on May 5, 2017 and was waived by the Rams on May 22, 2017. He played in 31 career games with 28 starts at San Diego State, starting the final 28 games of his career at left tackle.
Young was placed on the non-football injury list on July 26, 2017 after he was signed by the Dolphins on March 22, 2017. He was previously with New Orleans, where he began his career as an undrafted college free agent on May 6, 2016 before he was waived on Feb. 27, 2017. Young was a three-year starter at Auburn and attended Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School.

Miami Dolphins activate Jones
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have activated safety Reshad Jones off the non-football injury list (NFI). He was placed on the NFI list on July 26, 2017.
Jones has played all seven seasons of his NFL career with the Dolphins after he was picked by the team in the fifth round (163rd overall) of the 2010 NFL draft. He is second in team history among defensive backs with nine career sacks and led the NFL in total tackles by a defensive back with 135 (106 solo) in 2015. Jones earned his first Pro Bowl selection following the 2015 season and was also the team’s co-winner of the Dan Marino Most Valuable Player Award that season.

Miami Dolphins make roster moves
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp and waived/injured linebacker Lamin Barrow.
Westerkamp joins the Dolphins after a standout four-year career at Nebraska (2013-16) where he played in 49 games with 16 starts and caught 167 passes for 2,474 yards (14.8 avg.) and 18 touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors as a junior in 2015 and third-team All-Big Ten recognition as a senior in 2016. Westerkamp was a two-year captain (2015-16) for the Cornhuskers and finished his career ranked No. 2 in school history in receptions (167). This is his first NFL contract.
Barrow joined the Dolphins as a free agent on Jan. 10, 2017 after he was signed to the team’s practice squad on Dec. 28, 2016. He played in all 16 games with one start for Denver in 2014 and all 16 games for Chicago in 2015. Barrow originally entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick (156th overall) by Denver in the 2014 NFL draft.

Miami Dolphins announce Hard Rock Stadium scrimmage
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins announced a change to their “Back to Football powered by South Florida Ford” training camp schedule. The practice on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. will be moved to Hard Rock Stadium, where the team will hold a scrimmage.
The scrimmage is open to all fans and is free of charge. However, fans must reserve their free tickets for the scrimmage by registering at Dolphins.com/Scrimmage. Parking will also be free.
This will be the first opportunity for fans to see the team take the field at Hard Rock Stadium for the 2017 season. The stadium’s canopy will provide shade for fans, activations will be available on the grand plaza and merchandise and concession stands will be open.
Please note enhanced security measures will be in effect for all practices, regardless of location. These enhanced security measures include the clear bag policy.

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have placed wide receiver Rashawn Scott on the active/physically unable to perform list and safety Reshad Jones and tackle Avery Young on the active/non-football injury list. The team also activated running back De’Veon Smith and tackle Eric Smith from the active/physically unable to perform list.
Scott played in two regular season games and one playoff contest for the Dolphins in 2016 after joining the team as an undrafted college free agent on May 6, 2016. He was a four-year letterman at Miami (2011-13; 2015), where he played in 32 career games with 11 starts. Scott caught 91 passes for 1,247 yards (13.7 avg.) and eight touchdowns in his collegiate career. He played high school football at Melbourne (Fla.) Central Catholic.
Jones has played all of his seven NFL seasons with the Dolphins (2010-16) and has totaled 94 games played, 80 starts, 542 tackles (420 solo), nine sacks, 16 interceptions and 40 passes defensed. He earned Pro Bowl honors and was a co-recipient of the Dan Marino Most Valuable Player Award in 2015. Jones is second all-time in team history in sacks (9.0) by a defensive back. He originally joined the Dolphins as a fifth-round pick (163rd overall) in the 2010 NFL draft.
Young was signed by the Dolphins on March 22, 2017. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with New Orleans on May 6, 2016. Young was a four-year letterman (2012-15) and three-year starter at Auburn where he played in 37 games with 36 starts. He earned third-team All-SEC honors as a senior in 2015. Young played high school football at Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School.
De’Veon Smith joined the Dolphins as an undrafted college free agent on May 5, 2017 and had been placed on the active/physically unable to perform list on July 21, 2017. A four-year letterman (2013-16) at Michigan, Smith played in 46 career games with 26 starts in college, totaling 495 carries for 2,235 yards (4.5 avg.) and 22 touchdowns. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention recognition in 2015 and 2016.
Eric Smith entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Dolphins on May 5, 2017 and was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list on July 21, 2017. He was a four-year starter (2013-16) at Virginia, where he played in 45 games and made 44 consecutive starts to finish his career. Smith started all 36 games at right tackle from 2014-16 and earned Freshman All-American honors in 2013.

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed cornerback Alterraun Verner and placed linebacker Koa Misi on injured reserve.
Verner is an eight-year NFL veteran who has played in 110 games with 70 starts. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Tennessee Titans (2010-13) before playing three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2014-16). Verner has totaled 414 tackles (339 solo) with 0.5 sacks, 15 interceptions and 71 passes defensed in his career. In 2013, Verner earned second-team All Pro honors and was named to the Pro Bowl after starting all 16 games and intercepting five passes.
Misi has played in 84 games with 72 starts in seven seasons with the Dolphins. He has totaled 350 tackles (252 solo) with 12 sacks, 10 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in his career. Misi was originally a second-round pick (40th overall) by Miami in the 2010 NFL draft.
