Miami Dolphins Become First Sports Team To Partner With SunPass® For Stadium Parking
Two parties join forces to offer a more convenient, less expensive parking option to enhance fan game day experience
Davie, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today became the first sports team in Florida to partner with a prepaid toll program in offering a convenient, less expensive parking payment option for guests attending stadium events through the SunPass program. This partnership makes SunPass the exclusive provider of electronic parking payment at the stadium.
Fans with an active SunPass account must select “Easy Pay” automatic replenishment on SunPass.com using a credit card or debit card to enjoy the ease and convenience of SunPass Plus Parking. Customers can check to see if they are enrolled in SunPass Plus by logging into their account at SunPass.com and clicking on “TRANSPONDERS” at the top of the page to confirm their SunPass Plus status.
“We seek to have our pulse on ways to improve the fan experience at our stadium,” Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President of Operations Todd Boyan said. “This innovative partnership with Florida’s SunPass Prepaid Toll Program allows our fans to enjoy the convenience of utilizing a widely-adopted service in the community while also enjoying a price savings.”
SunPass Plus customers will have the convenience of using the program and paying less than the cash customer entering the stadium. Fans simply look for the SunPass Plus logo when entering the stadium to utilize the option.
The amenity will be in place for all stadium events, beginning with the Dolphins Sept. 1 preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, followed by the University of Miami Sept. 3 football game against Florida A&M University.

Miami Dolphins Sign Culliver
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed cornerback Chris Culliver and placed him on the active/physically unable to perform list. The team has also released center/guard Jacques McClendon and linebacker Danny Lansanah.
Culliver has played in 52 games with 26 starts in his four-year NFL career. He has totaled 137 tackles (119 solo), seven interceptions and 34 passes defensed in his career. Culliver played three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers (2011-12; 2014) and was with the Washington Redskins in 2015. He posted career-highs in tackles (45) and interceptions (4) in 2014 with the 49ers. Culliver originally entered the NFL as a third-round selection (80th overall) by the 49ers in the 2011 NFL draft after playing collegiately at South Carolina.
McClendon played in three games for the Dolphins in 2015 after spending several stints on the team during the season. He was most recently signed by the Dolphins on Dec. 22, 2015 and originally joined the team as an unrestricted free agent on April 22, 2015. McClendon has played in 25 career games with five starts for the Indianapolis Colts (2010), Jacksonville Jaguars (2013-14) and the Dolphins (2015). He was originally a fourth-round selection (129th overall) by the Colts in the 2010 NFL draft.
Lansanah joined the Dolphins on Aug. 3, 2016 after playing 16 games with 11 starts for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015. Throughout his three-year NFL career, Lansanah has played in 38 games with 22 starts for the Green Bay Packers (2008) and Buccaneers (2013-15), totaling 126 tackles (86 solo), 2.5 sacks and three interceptions. He was originally signed by the Packers as an undrafted college free agent on May 2, 2008.

Davie, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders have selected 36 women for their 2016 Squad. These ladies represent eight countries, 28 cities and speak a combined five languages.
These 36 ladies were selected from the largest turnout for Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Auditions. More than 800 ladies registered to be the next Miami Dolphins Cheerleader. The organization became the first NFL team to host auditions internationally, searching for enthusiastic, charismatic and talented women in Bogota, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Mexico City, Mexico; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and South Florida to represent one of the most prestigious teams in the NFL.
One of the most visible entertainment groups in all of professional sports, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders have traveled to more than 30 countries on five continents over the past decade and continue to be an iconic and international face of NFL Cheerleaders. The cheerleaders are on the sidelines for all home games and are extremely active in the community; visiting schools and hospitals, as well as charity and corporate events.

Miami Dolphins Announce Broadcast Teams for 2016 Season
Miami, FL – The Miami Dolphins announced their broadcast teams for the 2016 season, including preseason television and preseason and regular season radio.
Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese and Honor Roll member Nat Moore return for preseason television broadcasts on WFOR-CBS4 with Dick Stockton on play-by-play and former linebacker/defensive end Kim Bokamper reporting from the sidelines. WFOR-CBS4 once again returns as the preseason home of the Dolphins as three of the four preseason contests will be shown on the CBS affiliate in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market. The N.Y. Giants, Dallas and Tennessee preseason games will air on CBS4, while the Atlanta preseason game will be nationally televised on NBC.
Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor joins the preseason English radio broadcast team on Sportsradio 560 WQAM as an analyst alongside former Dolphins tight end Joe Rose with former wide receiver Jimmy Cefalo handling the play-by-play duties. During the regular season, Cefalo and Rose are joined by Griese with Bokamper reporting from the sidelines. All Dolphins games can be heard on Sportsradio 560 WQAM and KISS 99.9, the flagship stations of the Miami Dolphins Radio Network, Dolphins.com and throughout South and Central Florida on the more than 12 stations that make up The Miami Dolphins Radio Network. In addition to the game broadcasts, the stations will feature an expanded pregame show with Curtis Stevenson and former Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder serving as hosts, a halftime show hosted by Kevin Rogers and a postgame show hosted by Orlando Alzugaray and former Dolphins running back Troy Stradford with live updates from Rogers.
1210 ESPN Deportes returns as the Dolphins official Spanish radio broadcast partner for all preseason, regular season and playoff games. Raul Striker Jr. will handle play-by-play duties with Eduardo Martell as a color analyst. 1210 ESPN Deportes additionally airs a 60-minute pregame show called “El Pre-Game de Los Miami Dolphins” and a 30-minute postgame show “El Post-Game De Los Miami Dolphins.”

MIAMI DOLPHINS PRESEASON TELEVISION TEAM (Kim Bokamper, Bob Griese, Nat Moore and Dick Stockton)
Bokamper began his career with the Miami Dolphins in 1976 as the team’s first round draft pick. During his 10 seasons with the Dolphins, he played both linebacker and defensive end, earning Pro Bowl recognition in 1980 as a linebacker. Bokamper retired from the NFL in 1985. In 1990, he began a career in broadcasting as part of the Dolphins’ pregame and postgame shows. Eventually, he began hosting regular sports talk shows. In 1996, Bokamper began working with CBS4 in Miami as a member of its on-air sports team.
Griese, a two-time All-American at Purdue, was the Dolphins’ first round draft choice in the organization’s second year in 1967. He enjoyed an excellent rookie season with 2,005 yards and 15 touchdowns passing and, for the remainder of his Hall of Fame career, he was the poised leader of a classic ball-control offense that generated one of the NFL’s all-time running attacks, three AFC championships in 1971, 1972 and 1973 and victories in Super Bowls VII and VIII. A six-time Dolphins MVP, he was named All-Pro in 1971 and 1977, and All-AFC four times (1970, 1971, 1973, and 1977) and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990. He played in two AFL All-Star games and six AFC-NFC Pro Bowls.
Moore, currently the team’s Senior Vice President of Alumni Relations & Special Projects, is one of the most celebrated players in Dolphins history. Drafted in the third round of the 1974 draft (78th overall) out of the University of Florida, Moore spent his entire 13-year NFL career as one of the most productive offensive players in Dolphins history. Moore ranks among the top three players in team history in seven major statistical categories. He is second in Dolphins history in career touchdowns (75), receiving touchdowns (74) and combined yardage (8,950) and third in receptions (510), receiving yards (7,547), total yards from scrimmage (7,795) and receiving touchdowns (12) in a season. Establishing a positive reputation on and off the field led Moore to be named the 1984 Dolphins “Man of the Year.” In 2005, the Dolphins renamed their community service award to The Nat Moore Community Service Award. This award is given annually to a Miami Dolphins player recognized for his involvement in the South Florida community.
Stockton has a long history of covering almost every major sports event on a national level. He is currently a member of FOX’s BFL broadcast team and also handles national telecasts of Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association on both FOX and Turner sports. Stockton brings more than 35 years of broadcasting experience, including covering NFL regular season and playoffs, NCAA regular season and tournament basketball, the World Swimming and Diving Championships, championship boxing, track and field as well as the Olympic Games.
MIAMI DOLPHINS PRESEASON ENGLISH RADIO TEAM (Jimmy Cefalo, Joe Rose and Jason Taylor)
Cefalo begins his 12th season as part of the Dolphins’ radio team, and holds a long list of impressive career credentials from both on and off the field. During his years playing for the Dolphins, Cefalo scored the second longest touchdown in Super Bowl history during Super Bowl XVII, against the Washington Redskins. In his broadcast career, he was a correspondent for NBC News on the “Today Show,” sports anchor for “NBC News at Sunrise” and co-host of the 1988 Olympic games in Seoul. Jimmy also co-hosted “PM Magazine,” “AM South Florida,” on WTVJ and hosted the “Trump Card” game show distributed by Warner Brothers Television. In 1988, Cefalo snared an Emmy for his writing on the 24th Olympic Games and fives times, National Sportscasters and Sportwriters Association named him Florida Sportscaster of the Year (1998, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004).
Rose enters his 11th season as a Dolphins radio analyst. Rose was a seventh-round draft pick from the University of California at Berkeley and later a tight-end for the Miami Dolphins from 1980-86. Aside from his radio and television work, Rose is probably best known for catching Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino’s first touchdown pass of his professional career. In addition, he had the distinction of having caught two touchdown passes in the Miami and San Diego historic playoff match-up in 1982. Rose previously served as the sports director for WTVJ-TV (Channel 6), joining that station in 1992. He continues his popular morning radio program on Sportsradio 560 WQAM-AM that has been airing for the past fourteen years. He also is a regular contributor on WFOR-CBS4’s weekday morning news.
Taylor served as an analyst on ESPN throughout the 2012 season, appearing on NFL Live, SportsCenter, NFL32 and Sunday and Monday NFL Countdown. In 2014, he served as a regular on Pro Football Talk, the NBC Sports Network show hosted by Mike Florio. In 2015, he was an analyst on SiriusXM NFL Radio’s weekly NFL show. Taylor made his broadcast booth debut as a game analyst on Oct. 31, 2015, covering the University of Georgia-University of Florida game for Westwood One Sports. Taylor played 15 seasons in the NFL, including 13 years with the Dolphins (1997-2007, 2009 and 2011). He ranks sixth all-time in NFL history for most career sacks with 139.5 and is the all-time NFL leader in fumble return touchdowns with six. He won numerous awards throughout his career, including the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award and the 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, the only league honor that recognizes both on-field achievements and off-the-field contributions. Taylor also was a six-time Pro Bowl selection (2000, 2002, 2004–2007), a four-time first or second team All-Pro (2000–2002, 2006), a two-time NFL Alumni Association Defensive Lineman of the Year (2005, 2006) and the NFL Alumni Association Pass Rusher of the Year (2000).
MIAMI DOLPHINS PRE- AND REGULAR SEASON SPANISH RADIO TEAM (Eduardo Martell and Raul Striker Jr.)
Martell, better known by his peers and fans in the Radio industry as “El Vikingo,” was born in Havana, Cuba. His career in sports began in 2000 when he joined Univision.com as an editor and sports writer producing articles having on soccer, NFL, NBA, boxing and MMA. In 2006 he started as a co-host in Locura Deportiva, the only all sports national show in Univision Radio up until 2012. While working at Univision Radio he was a sideline reporter, color analyst and also did all play by play broadcasts for every Super Bowl from 2007 to 2011. Martell also covered all the mayor boxing events and UFC fights from 2006 to 2012, including De la Hoya vs Mayweather, Pacquiao vs Marquez, De la Hoya vs Pacquiao and many others. He covered the World Cup from Germany in 2006 as a sports correspondent. After his five year tenure at Univision Radio he joined UFClatino.com as a columnist, the official site in Spanish of the UFC. In September 2012 he became the co-host and executive producer of Firma Deportiva which airs nationally out of 1050 AM New York through ESPN Deportes Radio and its affiliate stations. He has served as the host of the pregame and half time shows for the NFL season in 2013-14 which included Super Bowl 48 in New York. In November 2013 he became the host of Revista Deportiva, the afternoon show airing on 1210 ESPN Deportes, becoming the number one Hispanic sports show in South Florida.
Son of renowned Spanish sportscaster Raul Striker, Striker Jr. has covered sporting events that include the World Series, FIFA World Cups, Sugar, Rose, Fiesta and Orange Bowls, ATP Tennis, PGA Golf tournaments and NASCAR races. Striker Jr. also served as producer/host of Marlins Semanal, the Marlins official Spanish television show during 2003 and 2004. Striker Jr. began his 13th year as the Marlins play-by-play secondary audio programming television announcer. He has called all Marlins home games since 2003 on SAP. Before joining the Marlins, Striker Jr. served as anchor/reporter on a variety of sports shows for the Spanish-language television network Telemundo. He currently serves as the Miami Dolphins (NFL) football Spanish-language play-by-play announcer on 1210 ESPN Deportes. Prior to that, he was the voice of the NFL, did all play-by-plays for the weekly Thursday Night and Sunday Night games, the playoffs, Pro Bowls and Super Bowls XLVI & XLVII and XLIX on the Univison Radio Network. Striker Jr. was the Spanish-language television pregame, halftime, and in-game reporter of the Miami Heat (NBA) for the 2005 & 2006 seasons. The versatile Striker also graduated with a nursing degree from Miami Dade College in 2011 and worked as an RN in the neuroscience wing of Baptist Hospital in Miami. A native of Santurce, Puerto Rico, Striker Jr. resides in Miami.
MIAMI DOLPHINS REGULAR SEASON ENGLISH RADIO TEAM (Kim Bokamper, Jimmy Cefalo, Bob Griese and Joe Rose)
WQAM PREGAME, HALFTIME AND POSTGAME HOSTS (Orlando Alzugaray, Channing Crowder, Kevin Rogers, Curtis Stevenson and Troy Stradford)
Alzugaray has covered the South Florida sports scene for the last quarter century. The ever-opinioned “Big O” was the first and only broadcaster in the area to host a daily sports talk radio show in both Spanish and English. He’s been with Miami’s Sportsradio 560 WQAM most of his career in a variety of roles. Alzugaray’s has hosted the only radio show in the country that’s broadcasted from The Senior Bowl, The East West Shrine Game & The NFL Combine since 1998.
Crowder hosts weekday afternoons from 2-6 on Sportsradio 560 WQAM’s Hochman, Crowder and Kranz show. Crowder played his college football at the University of Florida, earning First-Team All-American Honors in 2004 and First-Team SEC Honors in 2003 and 2004. The Dolphins selected him in the third round with the 70th overall pick. He went on to play six seasons for the teams, starting 74 games before retiring in 2011.
Rogers grew up in Miami and graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a degree in communications. Following radio stints in Tallahassee and Kansas City, Rogers arrived back in South Florida in 2005. Four years later, he arrived at Sportsradio 560 WQAM to host nights and work on the Florida Panthers pregame and postgame broadcasts. Rogers is currently part of both the University of Miami basketball and baseball broadcasts, while also working on the Panthers broadcasts.
“Captain” Curtis Stevenson has been with Sportsradio 560 WQAM for 16 years. He has worked with many legendary figures including “The Hammer Hank Goldberg,” Michael Irvin and Jim Mandich. He worked extensively with Jim Mandich as his executive producer and on air co-host from 2002-11. Stevenson has hosted Miami Dolphins pregame and postgame shows as well as Miami Hurricanes pregame and postgame shows during his tenure.
Stradford returns to Dolphins radio broadcasts, providing post-game analysis on the 5th Quarter Show. Stradford was taken in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Dolphins in 1987 out of Boston College and won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors as he netted over 1,000 yards from scrimmage.
